Template House

Template House Licence v1.2

This is the licence included in each Template House file sold through Polar. The Licence tab or page of your file is the version that applies to your purchase; the file also names the supplier.

1. Who and what.

"We" is the supplier and licensor named in the Licence tab or page of your file, contact: support@template-house.com. Your purchase (payment, taxes, invoice or receipt, refund) is made with Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), which sells the Product to you as merchant of record and authorized reseller, under Polar's buyer terms shown at checkout. "The Product" is the digital file(s) you bought: the template you bought. "You" is the buyer.

2. Grant.

We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, perpetual licence to use and edit the Product for (a) your personal use and (b) the internal business use of one person or one organisation, including producing documents for your own clients. The licence is for you as one user. Teams: buy one licence per person unless the listing says otherwise.

3. You may not.

Resell, redistribute, share, upload, lend, rent or sublicense the Product or edited copies as a template, as a file, or inside a template bundle, marketplace, course or app. Claim that you created the template. Put the Product in a public repository or file-sharing site. Use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you. These limits do not stop you from using the results of the Product (for example the invoices or budgets you fill in).

4. Ownership.

We keep all rights in the Product. You own your own data and your filled-in copies. Third-party software (Excel, Google Sheets, Word, PowerPoint, Notion and others) belongs to its owners and you need your own licence for it. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

5. AI involvement.

The Product was created with AI assistance under our creative direction, then reviewed by us. AI-assisted content may be similar to other content, and rights in AI-assisted material can differ by country. We do not promise that any part of the Product is protected by copyright in your country.

6. What the Product is not.

The Product is a general template. It is not tax, accounting, legal, financial or investment advice. For finance, invoice and budget templates: Calculations and layouts are examples and may not meet the rules of your country or your situation (for example mandatory invoice contents, e-invoicing, VAT). Check with a qualified accountant or adviser before you rely on it. Invoice templates in particular may need to include details required by your local law.

7. Delivery and compatibility.

The listing states formats and tested versions. Features may differ in other versions or apps. Updates to the Product are provided only if the listing says so.

8. Your rights as a consumer.

Nothing here limits your mandatory consumer rights. Polar is the seller of this purchase, so statutory withdrawal and refund rights are handled by Polar under its buyer terms at checkout. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase; for digital content that you download right away, this right ends once delivery starts, but only if you expressly agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged this loss before purchase. Without that agreement and acknowledgement the right of withdrawal remains. If the Product does not work as described, contact us at support@template-house.com: we will fix or replace it, or ask Polar to refund you. Your statutory rights for defects against Polar as seller remain unaffected.

9. Liability.

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee or fraudulently concealed a defect. For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation (one whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you can regularly rely), and then only up to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded. Your statutory rights in case of defects are not affected. We are not responsible for the results of decisions you make using the Product.

10. Ending.

The licence ends when we notify you, if you break section 3. You must then delete shared or resold copies.

11. Law and contact.

Turkish law applies to this licence. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you usually live, and they take priority over this clause. Nothing in this clause limits your right under mandatory law to bring a claim before the courts of your country of residence. Contact: support@template-house.com. Questions about payment, invoices, taxes or refunds: Polar, via the link in your receipt.
